An unusual tropical climbing bean, producing large amounts of hairy bean pods. Eat cooked when young, use as a cover crop / manure, or even as a forage plant. May have various medicinal qualities such as a treatment for parkinsons disease, an aphrodisiac and blood pressure control. As always, consult a doctor before using it for any treatments.
Sow in Spring and Summer or in the dry season in warm northern areas.
Sow 25mm directly in final position, seedlings emerge 6-10 days, space 15cm apart.
This is a climbing variety which requires a trellis or some kind or support.
