This is a great tropical legume producing beautiful mostly blue flowers. The plant can be used for green manure, grazing animals, silage and the flowers can even be used as a natural dye. Best grown in warm, humid and / or tropical climates. As a legume it will add additional nitrogen to the soil. Pods are edible. Will throw some white or pale / mauve flowers as well as the typical dark blue.

Sow Spring-Summer or in tropical areas you can plant Autumn-Winter.
Plants grown on a sprawling vine so a trellis is recommended unless growing for green manure.
