This is an old french variety with crinkled leaves, commonly used in saurkrout. Head weigh up to 3kg and are compact with excellent flavour. Great cold tolerance.
Cabbages need correct timing of planting to form correctly.
Sow late summer- early autumn in most climates, in tropical and sub tropical zones sow in Autumn-Winter. Best to sow going towards the coolest time of the year. Avoid hot weather.
Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 7-14 days Harvest approx.70-85 days after sowing
