A pepper variety from Kyoto Japan, used in tempura and other traditional dishes. Fruits are thin walled and slim, growing 15cm long. Traditionally picked when green but will turn red and has some heat when mature. Very highly productive.
Sow Spring and Summer Sow 5mm directly in final position or in seed boxes, seedlings emerge 10-14 days, must have adequate temperature to germinate (25-28 degrees C soil temp.), space 50cm apart. Harvest 10-16 wks after sowing
