This is a rare drying pepper from Matrafured, Hungary, grown since the 1800s. The peppers are similar in shape to bell capsicums but slightly tapered at the end and about 1/3 of the size. They have mild heat with excellent flavor. Good for drying, chilli powder or adding to sauces and paste.
Sow Spring and Summer Sow 5mm directly in final position or in seed boxes, seedlings emerge 10-14 days, must have adequate temperature to germinate (25-30 degrees C), space 50cm apart. Harvest any time when fruits are of a suitable size
