A staple of South East Asian and Indian food, this variety of chilli has upright clusters of fruit, approx. 5 - 6 cm long, fruit have thin walls and an intense flavour. The fruit start green and ripen to deep red. Plants are compact, good for pots. Very hot: heat level 100,000 to 225,000 Scoville
Sowing time - Sp - Su (Only sow AFTER the last frost or indoors until frosts have finished) Please note chilli need 22+ degrees C soil temperature to germinate, they grow best in warm climates but will easily grow in cooler climates, though they may require extra heat to germinate.
