This is a great salad green, this variety has smaller spoon shaped leaves with a more intense flavour than dutch broadleaf. Perfect for winter plantings is all but the coldest climates. Suitable to use as a baby leaf for salads. Sowing time - Autumn to Winter or in cold frosty zones - plant in Spring.
Prefer sunny position, sow 12mm deep, emerge 7-20days Harvest in approx 8-10 weeks after sowing
