This is a short lived perennial which produces tall candle like spikes with dark blue / purple flowers with a black centre. Its great for cut flowers, allowing multiple cuts. Great also as a background plant in cottage gardens. Attracts butterflies and tolerates frosts.
Sow Sp-Au Prefers a sunny position, sow 3mm at 20+ degrees, germinates 10-20 days. Delphinium seed requires cold scarification - you can chill seed in fridge for several weeks before sowing, cold scarify or sow in winter for Spring germination.
