This variety produces medium sized dark red flattened bulbs. This is a short-day variety especially suited for warmer, subtropical areas. Bulbs have a pungent and spicy taste. Good for storing and fresh uses. Sow most cool to temperate areas - May-July, for subtropical areas sow March-May. May not grow well in tropical areas.
