Shaftel

Persian Clover is excellent for green manure, attracting beneficial insects, a living mulch, grazing for animals and the flowers and leaves can even be used in salads or teas. Not as suitable for lawns due to its more upright habit. Better in temperate climates than many clovers.

Germinates best between 18-20 degrees C, for cool climates sow very early Spring or Autumn, Sow in Winter in warm climates. Germinates 7-10 days, scatter directly on soil and cover lightly, must be kept moist for good germination.

Coated seed is seed that has been pre-coated with lime and inoculant (beneficial bacteria), the coating is not toxic and will break down in the soil naturally.
