This variety is a rare french heirloom, producing unique looking fruits with bumpy skin and pale orange flesh. Extremely tasty, much nicer than most modern rockmelon varieties. Produces up to 8 fruits per plant, 1.5kg fruits.
Plant in Spring and Summer and in tropical regions Au-Sp, soil temperature should be above 20 degrees C
Best sowing in clumps of 2-3 seeds,
Sow 10-20mm deep, leaving 100cm between seedlings, will emerge in 6-10 days
Harvest once the melon has an aroma and the stem comes easily away from the fruit ~80 days
