This heirloom produces dark purple / black cherry sized fruits that fully ripen to red and black. Very high yielding and seems to have good fruit fly resistance. Note that the black colouring is in response to sunlight so fruits in shaded spots under the leaves will be less dark.
Sow in Spring for most regions, for hot humid climates, avoid growing in Summer. Sow 5mm at 22 degrees C, seedlings emerge 10-14 days, space 50cm apart. This variety is indeterminate and requires staking. Harvest approx. 12 wks after sowing
