This is an unusual variety of Japanese Turnip producing long thin roots topped with a pinkish red colouring. They are commonly used in Japan for pickling but are also great for eating grated in salads or cooked in soups. The leaves can also be eaten and are both tasty and highly nutritious.

Sowing time - Late Summer to autumn, may be planted in Spring in cooler climates. Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 6-10days, 40cm by 15cm apart Harvest in approx 10-12 weeks after sowing
