This is a very unusual type of parsley which produces large roots that are similar to parsnip in appearance. It can be used for both root and leaf. It is quite common in eastern european cuisine and is used in soups and stews for the root and normal parsley use for the leaves. Although the root looks similar to parsnip it has a very unique flavour. Worth trying for the novelty! Sow all year in warm areas, Sp-Au in cooler areas Sow 5mm deep, Please note germination is very erratic for this variety - seedlings emerge within 6wks. Harvest in 90 days
