Arnica montana, also known as wolf's bane, leopard's bane, mountain tobacco, and mountain arnica is a moderately toxic European flowering plant in the daisy family. This plant has a large yellow flower head and is sometimes confused with the highly poisonous aconitum. Traditionally used as a herbal medicine for pain and inflammation. Handle all parts of the plant with gloves, may be toxic if ingested or touches broken skin.
Perennial to 60cm tall
Naturally variable germination rates, germinates 20 days at 18 degrees c, cover very thinly, seeds require light to germinate.
