This beautiful variety produces unusual flowers that are a mix between a chocolate colour and a blackish purple. High yielding and an interesting feature in the garden. Each plant grows about 1m and thus requires support, great in soups and stews.

Sowing time - Autumn to Winter - Best germination at around 15-20 degrees C. Try to avoid frosts. Will grow in spring in cool zones.

Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 10-14days

Harvest in approx 18 weeks after sowing
