each bulb contains approx 8-12 cloves / planting pieces

Italian Late is from the Artichoke garlic group.

Flavor is sharp, rich and creamy in flavour with good heat.

Use lightly sauteed, or in slow foods such as stews, casseroles and soups.

Sow in Au-Sp in cool zones or now for warmer zones

Plant each clove separately so that the tops of the bulbs are just below the soil surface, with the pointier end facing upwards, plant 10cm apart

Harvest about 8 months after planting once the stalks go brown. Leave to dry under cover in a ventilated area, usually by hanging, for 2-3 weeks.
