This delightful little perennial evergreen, aka the Balkan Mint or Satureja thymifolia, is a often used as a fragrant ground cover in mediterranean, subtropical, or temperate climates. The leaves, which are green and elliptic in shape, are not only edible but also quite aromatic. They range in size from 3 to 25 mm and have a hard, sturdy texture. The charming white flowers bloom on stalks in inflorescence.

This plant likes a full sun to part shade. Sow in Spring and Summer Sow on surface, soil temp should be 20-23 degrees, pat down and keep moist, best to cover seedling tray with cling wrap to keep moist, seedlings emerge 10-30 days.
