This poppy grows up to 90 cm tall and tolerates dry conditions. It features bright red flowers with a black center. The petals are thin and may be crisp, growing about 10 cm wide. The inner petals stand up, giving the flower a tulip-like look, distinguished by its dark center.

Sow Au-Win in warm climates, Au and Spring in cooler zones, best suited to in temperate (cool) climates - Sow 14-16 degrees C soil temp.

Prefers a sunny position, sow on surface and keep moist at all times, in pots or garden bed
