This variety gives the same flavour as traditional wasabi. The leaves have a spoon-like shape and a slight serrated edge, perfect for early spring and autumn sowing. Avoid sowing in summer or late spring, as this variety tends to bolt.

Sowing time - Sp-Su in cool to temperate climates and Au-Win in hot climates Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 8 -14 days at 15 degrees C Harvest when leaves are of an edible side and not too old (they get more peppery with age).
