This small aromatic shrub is an old plant which has been traditionally used to eliminate intestinal parasites and also to repel fleas, flies and other insects as well as deterring cats and dogs! It was used in the middle ages to ward off evil spirits and has various uses in witchcraft. It has connections to relieving stomach cramps and can be used to flavour meat, cheese and egg dishes.

Sow in Spring and Summer Sow on surface as it needs light to germinate, 20deg C optimum, seedlings emerge 10-21 days. Self sows when established.
